manifesto

a work in progress Art, for me, is the celebration of random occurrences and variables colliding and swarming in ephemeral coexistence. The process of assimilation and renewal is most captivating. I find chance discovery and observation the realm of choice, where the unexpected is the reward. This self-awareness has taken years to coalesce and its reduction into a few words is imperfect. Its like clutching the reins of a bucking bull knowing you can't escape the experience without being thrown. As an artist, I become a catalyst and willing participant in the events as they unfold. The brush is my blade and the quest is my salvation.
